Who we are

ALRAWI is an independent perfume retailer in the Middle East. Where this policy says “we”, it means ALRAWI. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +974 3323 9353 or by email at support@alrawiperfumes.com.

What we collect

When you place an order we ask for your name, phone number, country, city or province and delivery address. We also keep the perfumes, sizes and prices in your order, the language you used and the time you ordered.

We do not ask for your email address, a password or your date of birth, and we never take card or bank details on the website.

Why we use it

Only to confirm your order with you, arrange its delivery, answer your questions and honour our 3-day guarantee. We contact you on the phone number you give us, by call or WhatsApp.

Who sees it

Your details are seen only by ALRAWI and, for delivery only, by whoever delivers your order. We do not sell, rent or share your details for advertising.

Your invoice, with your name and your order, is sent to your WhatsApp through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, which carries it to you as it carries any WhatsApp message.

Our website and order records are kept by our hosting provider, whose servers may be located in other countries.

How long we keep it

We keep your order for as long as we need it to deliver it, honour our guarantee and keep proper business records. You can ask us to delete it sooner, unless the law requires us to keep it.

On your device

The website keeps your bag, your choice of language and — only if you ask it to — your delivery details in your browser’s own storage, so they are there when you come back. They stay on your device and reach us only when you place an order. You can remove them at any time at checkout or by clearing your browser’s data. Your cookie choice is kept there too, so we do not ask on every visit.

If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel described below may also place a cookie from Meta on your device.

Your order in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

After you order, you may add your order to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It is your choice: nothing is added unless you ask.

The pass shows your order reference, its status, the total, your perfumes, your delivery details and a link to your invoice.

If you add it to Google Wallet, these details are sent to Google and kept with your Google account, under Google’s own privacy policy. If you add it to Apple Wallet, the pass is kept on your device (and in your iCloud, if you use it), and your device gives us a random device identifier and an address for notifications, so that the pass can follow your order. We use them for nothing else, and delete them when you remove the pass.

When your order changes, we update the pass; if your order is cancelled, the pass says it is no longer valid. You can remove the pass from your Wallet at any time.

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure how visitors find our website and to show our advertising to people who may be interested in it. It runs only if you accept marketing cookies when we ask on your first visit. When it runs, your browser tells Meta which page you opened, together with technical details such as your IP address and browser, and Meta may place a cookie on your device. We have set the Pixel to report page views only: it does not read what you type in the order form, and we do not send Meta your name, phone number, address or order. The Pixel does not run in our private admin.

Other than this, we use no analytics or social-media trackers, and our fonts and images are served from our own website. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page: if you withdraw it, the Pixel stops and the cookies Meta set on our website are removed. You can also block cookies in your browser, or adjust your ad settings on Facebook and Instagram. Meta’s use of the data is described in Meta’s own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to us on WhatsApp or by email and we will reply as soon as we can.

We handle personal data in line with the data protection laws that apply to us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page with a new date.
